Geek [Supplies] – The Guild

The-Guild-Geek-Supplies

Welcome to Geek [Supplies] where friends test each other’s boundaries and raid together. The Guild is an iconic web series that explores the gamer lifestyle while exploring the relationships between an online guild, “The Knights of Good.”  Whether you are a hard core fan or new to the series, we’ve got some geeks supplies for you.

 Clothes

Guild-Gear-from- Jinx.com

Jinx.com was the official t-shirt merchandiser for the series. We found Zaboo’s hysterical line about his helm being “+5 to Sextarity”, the in-game guild name “The Knights of Good“, the series’ original logo and a very comfy looking hoodie.

 Costumes

The-Guild-Costumes

Fun Costumes created a series of ready-made costumes for four members of The Knights of Good; Codex, Zaboo, Clara and Vork. They don’t appear to be available on the Fun Costumes website any more but you can still find them on Amazon.

Comics

The-Guild-Comics

Back in 2010 the first The Guild comic was released  by Dark Horse comics. It was written by Felicia day and illustrated by Jim Rugg. The limited-series release is a prequel to the web Series. The collected volume was released on November 24, 2010. A year later a second limited series was released with each comic focusing on the rest of the Knights of Good; Vork, Zaboo, Clara, Tinkerballa and Bladezz. Fawkes also scores his own one-shot. A collected volume  of that series was released on July 27, 2012.

Crafts

The-Guild-Cross-Stitch

In the thread craft department, I only know how to knit and sew so I don’t see myself downloading this pattern and cross stitching a throw pillow. But I totally applaud you if you do AND if you do I totally want to see a picture!

 Macbook Decal

Apple computers are too rich for my blood but this Macbook decal found on etsy.com is just too clever! It is a must have if Codex is the apple of your eye. See what I did there?

Books

Boundries

We talked a lot about boundary issues during the podcast. Geek host Sara highly recommends (“it’s fraking fantastic”) this book if you would like to learn more about creating healthy boundaries in your life. It has an accompanying workbook to help you, you know, work through the process.
